NAME
DISTANCE - Measure the distance between two points
SYNOPSIS
DIS {<xy1> <xy2>} ... EOC
DESCRIPTION
After entering the first point <xy1> a rubber-banded right-angled
triangle is animated on the screen between <xy1> and the current mouse
location. The coordinates of both points and the delta_x, delta_y,
and total distance is displayed.
After entering the final point <xy2> a summary is printed to the screen of the
form:
xy1=(-600,1100) xy2=(2800,3900) dx=3400, dy=2800, dxy=4404.54 theta=39.4725 (deg.)
giving the location of each coordinate, the delta_x, delta_y, delta_xy and the
angle of the line xy1:xy2 with respect to horizontal in degrees.
Pairs of points may be entered indefinitely until receipt of a final EOC or
the entry of another command name.
