NAME
CHANGE - Change characteristics of selected components
SYNOPSIS
CHA [<component>[<layer>]] {xysel [<comp_options>|"string"|:L<newlayer>]}... <EOC>
DESCRIPTION
Changes characteristics of selected components. Can be optionally
restricted to specified <component> and <layer>. In any case, only
components which have been made modifiable by the SHOW command can be
changed.
An <xysel> point selects and highlights the component to be changed. A summary
of the current non-default component options is printed to the text window. The user
can then enter any valid option for the selected component type. The new option
replaces the old value and the device is redisplayed. Any number of valid options
may be typed until a new <xysel> is given.
If either a NOTE or TEXT is selected, the associated text will be automatically
placed in the commandline history buffer where it can be easily recalled and edited.
See the GNU readline(3) manual page for details on commandline editing.
