Paul,
        Having moved out to the woods, I share your frustrations with the four
legged pests. An electric fence is no guarantee of protection. There are
a few things that you can try
        1.) Go to the barber and ask them for bags of human hair. Fill up
stockings with these and hang them around the area you wish to protect.
        2.) Deer are afraid of predators and have a keen sense of smell. They
are repelled bu human urine. if you are a vegetarian, it doesn't work as
well so get a meat and potatoes buddy to wizz around the area you wish
to protect. It works better in the morning with the urine being most
concentrated at that time of day.
