Subject: fires

I read some worrying reports about large fires in Kalimantan and
Sumatra, large to the extent that the smoke is causing smog in Singapore
and KL. Media coverage is scarce here, so is there anybody out there who
can clarify, eventually with locations so that we can estimate if some
nepenthes-populations might disappear (as happened on Gunung Kelam and
Gunung Bunga before)?
