Subject: Photo credit problems

HI Stefan,
I am terribly sorry if I used your photos. They were mixed in with what
was left of mine, salvaged from the barn. Odd thing is I have negatives of
them as well, which was what led me to think they were mine. I even have
photos from that negative strip on both sides of those pictures. Did you
send me negatives as well? How many pictures did you send me? I have been on
several field trips and taken many photos of many plants. In fact I have
even been told where those probably were taken, and I did visit there
several times and recall seeing the plants.
I shall, if you like remove the pictures and put up better ones. It was
an honest mistake though, no thought of taking credit from anyone ever
occured to me.
I had sent off those to Japan and got them back. Maybe that is how they
came to get mixed up in mine, and then to survive being waterlogged and
frozen, when so many others didn't.
If I had remembered at all, or had indications from where they had been
stored, I would never have even thought of using them at all, let elone
assuming that, as they were mixed up with my own shots from a field trip,
that they were actually part of that trip.
Also, as you say, it has been years, and at that time, I was barely able
to get e-mail. Web pages were something I didn't even dream of. I still
can not even adjust the one I have. So it is not like I borrowed the
pictures for false purposes or anything.
Let me know what you want and I will be happy to acknowledge.
    Best wishes
    Andrew
