Subject: Cites Conference of the Parties

Dear All,

I will be away at the CITES Conference of the Parties (COP 10) in Zimbabwe
from 7-31 June just in case anyone thinks I vanished. I will report
on the COP in the next Carnivorous Plant Specialist Group Newsletter
which will come out sometime in August. This will be sent to all cp
societies so they can include interesting pieces in their
mags/newsletters.

I would just like to thank the ICPS and all those who attended the
Atlanta cp meeting for their support, participation and comments. I
also think the two Ron's at Atlanta Bot. Garden, all the volunteers
and other staff did a great job and it was a great venue. I would
like to see these meetings happen every year and maybe alternate them
between the Americas, Europe/Africa and Asia. This needs more
discussion though............

Mad xxx
