Fernando,
I had a cross from refrigerated pollen that was stored for about 30 days.
N. maxima * khasiana, The plants grew true to the parents since I did
multiple crosses on the same spike. I've got frozen pollen trials lined
up for this year. Previously I had so much pollen available that I didn't
do as many refrigerated trials. This cross was from 1993.
As far as the grafting I think it is a novel idea to try both sexes on the
same plant. I reviewed Cliff's article and will try dormant eye suppression
instead of removal to resprout it later if the graft takes. Maybe even
multiple grafts, Well I'm off to sharpen up my grafting knife.
Truly,
