Hi everybody,

I'm new to this mailing list, so I introduce myself. ( Excuse
me for my poor english, but I'm french ! :-) ).

I have discovered CP in my studies in 1990, and I bought some,
the same year. In 1991, I became a member of the french association of
CP lovers, called Dionae. Until 1992, my collection has grown, but for
personnal reason, I gave up in 1992 (plants and assosiation). At this
time, I had more than 20 CP, plus seeds of some Drosera, that I had
stored in a refrigerator.

4 years later (and -20 plants later), I find this seeds again,
and I decide to saw them. 2 weeks later ( that is right now ! :-) ), I
can see small plants! Not for all seeds, but for D. capensis, and some
seeds of D. spatulata ss kansa\213, it has worked !

At this time, I have a few other plants : 2 Nepenthes ( 1
alata, and 1 X coccinea ), 2 sarracenia ( 1 flava, and 1 purpurea ), 1
Dionae ( the other one died last winter... Is there any tips for
Winter survival ? ), 1 pinguicula moranensis, and that's all ( except
some orchids, my second passion ).

All those plants are young ones...
The only problem I have, is with water, because the rain water
is to dirty ( lead, zinc,, ... ). I use the "state water", and to
epurate it, I mix it with peat.

I hope I have'nt been to long, and again, excuse me for my
poor english...

Best regards from Paris,

Fabrice
