With regard to the query on N.bellii and it attributes Katsuhiko Kondo
described it in Bulletin of the Torrey Botanical Club, Vol 96, No.6,
pp 653-655 Nov-Dec 1969. I don't know what chance you have of finding a
copy of this so here is a description of what my N.bellii looks like.
Firstly it is a cutting about three years old. It has numerous pitchers
that can best be described as a compact N.gracilis. The bottom pitchers
are about 3-7cm in height. They are a pale maroon/light pink. They are
slightly ventricose in the middle. It has a non-distinct peristome and is
not a plant that i recommend you rush out to add to your collection. Then
again there is doubt amongst fellow growers in Australia as to whether
this plant is a hybrid between N.globamphora x mirabilis.
