Hi, I'm new to this list and haven't introduced myself yet, but I just
wanted to issue a friendly warning to anyone who is considering using the
vinegar/baking soda approach to make CO2: Make sure you don't try to
contain the reaction too tightly, say in a jar with a screw top lid. A
large volume of gas can be evolved from this reaction, which could turn a
jar into a grenade.

The balloon solution is a good one. If you get to vigourous a reaction, the
balloon will just pop.

I'll get around to issuing a bio one of these days. Happy feeding!
