Greetings! It is good to know that there are so many other CP growers!
Although I grew carnivorous plants back in middle school my present
collection goes back only five years. My current species include:
Cephalotus follicularis, Dionaea muscipula *, Drosera binata var
dichotoma, D. burkeana *, D. capensis *, D. filiformis var tracyi, D.
hamiltonii *, Pinguicula agnata, P. planifolia (?), Sarracenia purpurea
purpurea (?), and S. rubra. The * ones have set viable seed. Most of
my pitcher plants haved died from inadequate winter dormancy or
excessive summer heat build up. As soon as I purchase a metal halide
light fixture for my basement I shall substantially increase my
collection of carnivorous plants and orchids. If anyone has a good
source of Nepenthes or other harder to find CP species please E-mail me
the info. Thanks!!
