Subject: September issue of Carnivorous Plant Newsletter!

Hey Folks!

The September issue of Carnivorous Plant Newsletter is now hitting the
stands! Included are:

--A description of the very robust Drosera arcturi that lives in Tasmania,
and a comparison with Drosera regia
--The botanical description of Drosera x corinthiaca, a newly recognized
natural hybrid of D. aliceae and D. glabripes
--Caught on the 'net---Jay Lechtman's summary review of what folks on this
wise body have to say about Sphagnum
--An account of CP of the Northwest Territories (Canada)
--Literature Reviews
--Three book reviews, Lowrie vol III, Overbeck, and Simpson
--News and Views, update on the 2000 meeting
--Pinguicula vulgaris in Iceland
--Fly Fishing (a great double meaning to the title of this funny article)
--Special reviews of Artwork, and an Aquarium cleaner of interest to the
  CP terrarium crowd.
--A New Cultivar, Dionaea 'Red Piranha'
--Seedbank, editorial notes, advertisements, and more more more!

It will take anywhere from one to three weeks for ya'll to get your
issues, depending on how slow your local postal system is (don't blame us
for their slow delivery!). The issue should contain your renewal
information, so don't throw away the envelope too hastily!

Cheers

Barry
