_Genlisea_ does not have an adaxial ligula between petiole and
lamina, and usually not numerous strictly parallel veins throughout
the leaves (grasses do have them). If you want to be sure (but incl.
risk of loss of the plants), just uproot the plants. If they have
roots (with root cap and capillary roots), then you do certainly
*not* have _Genlisea_ (which lacks true roots whatsoever; they are
replaced by traps).
