How about the old handy dandy, EC (electrical conductivity) meter, or
salubridge. The lower the reading, the less dissolved solids. My RO water
reading is 0. The well water reads .8 (millimhos/cm). I use the RO water on
all my CP's. If your water reads < .5 millimhos/cm, I would say " use it
man."
