Subject: Seawater hydrometer

I bought a reverse osmosis unit. Now I want to check if it's working
right. So I bought this hydrometer which has salinity (ppt) and
specific gravity scales. What range is considered satisfactory for our
carnivorous buddies (plants)? The specific gravity scale goes from
1.000 to 1.030 and the salinity 0 - 40 ppt.

Wilson:)
