Subject: Humidity Sensors

I recently received a catalog containing the following item of potential
interest to CP growers who like to do it themselves:

Polymer type sensor features longterm reliability and resisance to water
in applications where condensation can form. Range: 20%-100% RH, temp
range: 0-50 degrees C. Accuracy +-5%, drive voltage 1VAC, 50-1kHz.
Plastic case with 1" leads. The part number is 11472-MI, the cost
$9.95. The vendor (who has a $15 minimum order) is:
Marlin P. Jones & Assoc. Inc.
P.O. Box 12689
Lake Park, FL 33403-0685
Voice orders: (800) 652-6733
Fax orders: (800) 432-9937

The drive requirements look like a pain, but the operation in condensing
atmospheres is attractive.
