Subject: peat tea and more

Hi, I'm a newbie with my first cp's. In my house I have a tiny leaf bud of
p.primulaflora that I got from a friend. Also a n.sanguinea. In my garden I
have a bog garden in which I have sunk, in pots (because I have non-cp's
there that don't need pure water) are a Darlingtonia (still quite small), a
s. alata (that had d. capensis growing w/ it) and a s. purpurea x flava. I
live in far northern CA near the ocean, native turf for darlingtonia.
My questions are: how do I make peat tea for my nepenthe and what other
cp's would survive in my bog garden? Temps here rarely are freezing but
there can be an occasional freeze in winter. Normaly there is much winter
rain. Should I be concerned about my sarracenias outdoors in the winter?
Thanks for any info/help you all can share w/ me.
