  I take this to mean that the flower hadn't yet openned when you
wrote this letter? If so, all that was happenning was the plant is/
was waiting for the temps to warm up a bit. As I was transplanting
Sarracenia for some orders, I knocked off a couple flowering stems.
I transplanted a couple of them inside in (80-day, 75-night) temps
and the flowers have grown very fast! The plants outside (65-day,
40-night) are much farther behind now, only a week later.
