I don't know how large a 'large' quantity is, but last year I must
have collected many hundred from my few plants (I sent most of them
to people on the list a few weeks ago). I don't usually get this much
seed - it must have been a good year. I'm just suggesting that people
leave the flower stems on their VFTs, rather than removing them as is
often suggested - I bet you won't notice any difference in the health
of the plants.
