WooHoo!!! 1st Nepenthes seedlings!

Hi All,

My first Nepenthes from seed have germinated, and naturally
I am very happy about this. Last look I had N.rafflesiana,
N.mirabilis and N.ampullaria sprouting. Now, I have a few questions:

1) I have noticed some mould growing on N.ampullaria seeds
that have not yet germinated. I am assuming that these seeds
are not viable, so I'm not worrying about this too much. However,
I am worried that this mould may spread to the seeds that have
germinated. At the moment they only have their first two seed
leaves.

2) How difficult is it to keep these tiny seedlings growing? I hate it
when I get seeds to germinate, only to see them die a few weeks later.

3) Are seedlings less tolerant to temprature and humidity flunctuations
compared to adult plants?

4) How long should I leave them before I repot them?

Thanks to the person who kindly traded these seeds to
me. (You know who you are!)

Thanks,

Russell Elliott
