Hi Jeremy,

Both the VFT and the S. purpurea will need dormancy. As has been stated,
how you provide this dormancy really depends on where you live and the
growing set up you are using. D. capensis is native to South Africa I
beleive and mine grow throughout the year without dormancy. I don't grow U.
gibba, so I don't have a clue as to what it's needs are.
