I obtained a Heliamphora heterodoxa a few months ago, and I was
wondering how others on the list keep theirs cool in summer. I live in
South Australia which is sub tropical, and I grow it in a terrarium
inside my greenhouse. During the day tempratures occasionally reach 38
degrees, and from my readings on this plant, tempratures this high can
 kill it.
Mine is planted in pure live spaghnum, and is sitting on a clay brick
which is constantly wet. Someone suggested immersing the pot in ice
water twice a day, and letting it drain, but I don't really have time
 to do this!
Also, does any Australian on the list know where I can obtain Safers
soap? I have tried on many occasions, but no one has ever heard of it
 over here.
Thanks,
Russell Elliott
