I would NOT recommend sucking up alcohol with any type of vacuum!
Alcohol is flammable and could ignite when pulled into a vacuum cleaner!

On the broader topic, I have had some experiences vacuuming insects
(mostly ants) and the combination of the the suction, and the drying
effect of the rushing air seems to kill them pretty quickly. Perhaps
wasps are hardier?
