1) UK post strikes are planned for 26th July (36 hrs), 31st July (48
hrs), 6th August (24 hrs).

2) Thanks Tom, but I was seeking advice a stage earlier. Info like
whether you chop the leaf blade off, or use the stalk as well, or even
pull off a heel of stem tissue? Do you lay the leaf on the compost, or
bury it, or stand it on end? Superthrive doesn't seem to be
commercially available here and my spartan conditions don't stretch to
fluorescent lights, but that doesn't seem to be a problem for my other
Drosera cuttings.

3) Can someone explain what is/are chiggers? Is it anything like a nasty
disease we have here in the UK that afflicts children's television, called
Cheggers.

4) OK, I was wrong - I gave T Usneoides a surplus 'i' (two eyes are
better than one?). But what about the diaeresis? Or is that just a
quaint Brit custom like our mediaeval spelling of encyclopaedia?

Good Growing, NigelH
