Nepenthes blooming

Hello Folks,
To add my two bits worth on this...I also have notice here in
Seattle that my Nepenthes go into high gear come springs longer days and
brighter conditions. I have also noticed the following. I have a
Nepenthes spathulata female and N. kampotiana male that normally bloom in
the autumn. They are blooming now again. Both these plants produce
multiple spikes, the N, kampotiana is a multi-crown plant and produces one
flower per crown, the N. spathulata is single stem with many out grown
nodes that all produce spikes. I have seen as many as 11 spikes on her,
though currently there are only two.
I also have a multi-crown N. maxima that blooms regularly in early
spring. It is one spike per crown, one at a time. Similar observations
are noted for the N. x Ile de France and N.x splendiana.
One thing perhaps of worth here that I have noted. Where many
spikes are produced, each spike seems to be small, only consisting of up
to 20 flowers. Where there is only one spike produced it seems always to
be very large with over 100 flowers. I know to compare these all,
seperate species and hybrids as they are is to compare apples and oranges
but I just thought I'd throw it in anyway.
Thats my two bits worth I guess. Good growing
Andrew
