In CP Digest 751, Ken Cusson writes:

<The interesting thing is that the plants did not have the dormancy
everyone seems to be saying they need. I left them out, in their pots,
all winter (min temp of 40f)and they continued to grow smaller, wider,
groung-hugging leaves (w/traps approx. the same size) during the winter
months.>

To me, this doesn't sound like semi-dormancy, this sounds like ...
dormancy, am I right? (should ask Phil S...
who lives within walking distance of the monsters in the wild ...
well, almost <g>)

Mine don't go below 40 degrees during the winter in the garage,
and exhibit the same wide-petioled (winter) rosette of leaves before
flowering in the spring (although mine don't flower until May or June ...
just flowering now, as a matter of fact, due to our colder-than-normal
spring, I suppose)

Additionally, I don't know about you, but my fridge doesn't go much below 40
.... the veggies start to ice up much lower than that on the bottom shelf
<g>) Not that my wife would let me keep CP in the crisper ... might end up in
the salad.

Oh, and if anyone notices any SPELLING or GRAMMAR mistakes, please forgive me
... English isn't my first language (American is).
