You are very correct! The American Robin is actually related to the Eurasian
Blackbird and the songs are also very similar - ans so is their annoying
habit of uprooting smaller Sarracenia. I have also seen Sparrows stealing
Sphagnum from my outdoor bog and using it as nesting material
