"Maddy" should be fine at highland temperatures as "he" is a highland plant
(i am told).
I just want to be sure that I'm not missing the point your making 8)?? My
Madagascariensis is growing quite happily (but slowly) at about 80F.
However, it will soon be 95F+ during the day in the enclosure and I have
been told that the plant will probably not be able to survive through the
Summer 8(.

There are several compost receipes in Chris Creels growing guide. If
memory serves me right you can find it on the archive page by picking
the link "how to grow plants...guides and materials" or something like
that. Hope this helps.
