I have only dunked Drosera and tropical Utrics, but I would only use
distilled water. Where I live in Berkeley, my tap water is sufficiently
pure for day to day watering. But I would only use distilled water for
dunking purposes. For some reason the leaves seem to be more sensitive
to minerals/chemicals in the water.
I believe I've read of P. primulfloria growing completely
submerged in locations. Let me know if you're successful. Happy
