Hello Barry and all in the CP forum,

I want to clarify what I am offering a bit since it sounds from Barry's
note that perhaps I was not clear enough in my earlier message.

I apologize if I came across in the wrong way. I have a major interest in
carnivorous plants and the preservation of wetlands where they occur.
Since my company is starting an online service on the internet I just
wanted to offer our hardware/software, etc. to help the carnivorous plant
community. I have been a bit out of the loop of the CP world lately and am
just trying to provide whatever free hardware, software, or internet
services might be able to help the more active community communicate in the
most effective manner possible. This is not meant at all to belittle
anything that is out there already - which looks fantastic. All I hope to
do is provide people with more hardware/software to enhance what they are
already doing.

I actually have used the web quite a bit and am not trying to reinvent the
wheel at all. I am just trying to provide some additional hardware,
software, and monetary resources to help provide whatever is out there now
with an even higher level of prominence.

I've watched enough swampland and bogs get drained to know that this can
never be publicized enough. The more people that know that these "cool"
carnivorous plants grow in the wetlands, the more likely the public at
large will be willing to stop this genocide of important species on our
planet.

I actually don't have anything up there yet. It is just an easy domain
name to making what does go up there easy to find. I hope that it can
mirror existing CP sites or provide those who are interested with tools for
providing more information about CP (real-time videos, real-time audio,
animation, live chat rooms, etc.)

I hope this clarifies things a bit.

Best wishes,

Jeff
