Hello folks,
A few months back I got a letter from a friend of mine who is not
on the net but would like to correspond with folks particularly those of
us who are as much into Aldrovanda as he and I are. He asked me to post
his address up here but I was/still am awfully busy and I tend to forget
alot of stuff. At last look he wasn't up yet but If he is I appologize here
for the rather late posting. I also will of course appologize to him in
writing. I will now post his name and address.

So if you are interested in Aldrovanda cultivation, Christian would
like to correspond with you. And I wouldn't mind hearing from you
either. How have you all been doing with the Aldrovanda? Any one
flowered it yet? I have had good though thanks to the erratic weather
erratic growth also, with no flowers. The plants that I grew in the
green house did ok, a bit scrawny but the plants I grew outside are
robust and very dark green. I had a bit of problems with the
filimentacious algae but after I introduced some U. macrorhiza into the
tub the algae went after it insted. With the U. now in turions I
removed the dead U. growth along with the algae that was on it and no
more algae (until next year)
I hope this introduces a new vein of topic into this group. I am
getting a bit tired of the chest beating and the soap boxes. And
Christian, if you are up on the net, or have access to it, sorry it
took so long to post your request. it shan't happen again.
Good Growing
Andrew
