Hi.. Where are you moving to? I have grown Pings in probably just about any
way imagineable! I also grow African violets under a large flourescent light
set up and the very first Ping that I ever bought has been grown under
natural light, south windows, east windows, light stand, outside, etc. If
you plan on growing your Ping under flourescent lighting: 1) use flourescent
lighting, not incadescent or the lighting normally in your home 2) use light
bulbs especially made for growing plants, ie, GROW-LUX (if you can get them)
or daylight bulbs. GROW-LUX is fine in my opinion for Pings. 3) Conserve
humidity by putting a plastic bag over your Ping and cutting a few holes in
the top. Normal Ping prey (small flying bugs) will actually fly into the
holes and get trapped so a plastic bag will not hinder your Pings future
chances for meals.

Hope this helps!
