Well I finally repotted my Nepenthes Alata managing to seperate the plants
into two clumps. The plants do not seem to produce very extensove root
systems..Both, of late, have started to produce new pitchers with relatively
low humidity.. They have been potted up in a mixture of approx. 2 parts
peat moss, 2 parts coarse perlite, and ( too late) 1 part sphagnum moss. The
mixture appears to be very 'spongy' and should hold water well. One plant
is back by the lights. The other is out on the ledge of my apartment
window, with the pitchers hanging nicely over the concrete ledge, as they
might do in nature. ;)
