Several days ago I mailed about a nursery putting the VFT's in the
fridge (4 oC).
I myself have never tried it. My VFT's are growing outside. I keep
them there during the winter and only bring them inside when frost is
expected. The fridge-trick may be usefull for people who live in
places where the wintertemperatures do not get so low. I agree that
putting them in the fridge will not be needed in most places. In the
beginning I tried to grow VFT's and found that they greatly benefit
from a cold winterperiod I just thought I'd post this trick from
this man because he said his results were faster growth with young
plants.
