Several days ago I mailed about a nursery putting the VFT's in the 
fridge (4 oC).
I myself have never tried it. My VFT's are growing outside. I keep 
them there during the winter and only bring them inside when frost is 
expected. The fridge-trick may be usefull for people who live in 
places where the wintertemperatures do not get so low. I agree that 
putting them in the fridge will not be needed in most places. In the 
beginning I tried to grow VFT's and found that they greatly benefit
from a cold winterperiod  I just thought I'd post this trick from 
this man because he said his results were faster growth with young 
plants.
