"You will probably be able to find it at ' Foyle's' of Charring Cross
Rd.,London, which is the biggest book store in the country and so supplies
themost obscure of books. "

* If you don't get lost forever trying to find the CP book section ;)

pH of water can easily be lowered by adding a tsp. or two of distilled
white vinegar. You will need a simple pH test kit (avail from aquarium
supply stores) to determine your 'before' and 'after' pH levels. This is
cheaper than using the pre-packaged 'pH down' solutions available from
hydroponic suppliers.
