I think that 5 hours will be plenty. As people might know from my
other messages, I feel that if I had to surround my plants with all
sorts of technology, then I just wouldn't bother growing them.

It was one of Adrian Slack's books (Carnivorous Plants?) which turned
me from a Venus Fly Trap killer into a successful cultivator.
Unfortunately, I think the books are out of print.
