Tom, Just a thought, but you might try a plastic owl. Lot's of boat
owners have problems with birds roosting on their boats. Boat suply
stores sell plastic owls and plastic snakes that are used to keep gulls
away (Don't know if woodpeckers are afraid of owls, though.)
