Hi Ross, you're not the only one.

This even didn't work for me. It appears that all the HP sites are quite
difficult to contact from here. When I wait until net traffic in the USA
is lower (at night), then contact generally works.

Me neither. There's no way to the pictures. Fortunately there is still some
listserver, so you could have received mail about a path to these CP pictures
:-)

I dislike all this modern shit very much and I'm quite happy I can't even run
mosaic. Lynx would do to find my way through it, should it? How then?
When I set lynx to the picture site and I finally get contact and see the
GIF files in the directory, then it should be easy? No way!
I still receive GIF files of 162 bytes, containing plain text only.
There also isn't any other method left because www.hpl.hp.com isn't open for
telnet or ftp access.

Would someone please be so kind to tar, zip and uuencode the stuff and mail it
to me directly?
Sending it by the listprocessor seems not to be a good idea, because not
everyone might be interested in (or even capable to handle) a large amount
of data.

Thanks, merry christmas and a happy new year ...

Regards, Wim.
