Michael - re support your parents law, that is already the undepinning of
society in Asia: have as many children as possible, in hopes that at
least one will become rich enough to support you. Only in China, by some
really tough anti-children laws, have they been able to counteract this
policy.
It's hard to argue against this custom in countries that have no social
security at all.
