Anything to do and see in Orlando?

As I'll attend a conference in Orlando, I would like to know if there
any anything about cp to see in Orlando, any nurseries, societies,
gardens, etc worth visiting? Any idea?
I heard about the Selby Gardens in Sarasota. Can I visit it as a half
day excursion? Any info?
