I tried growing Aldrovanda about 15 years ago and it
was like growing acquatic utrics, very difficult.
The point of the boiled peat is to get the water acid.
Another important point would be to use PURE water,
and to let it sit for a while before introducing the
plant so a balanced micro-flora/fauna can get setup.

Good luck, you'll need it. My plant died after a
few weeks. I had an aquatic utric which was doing
great for months, then it up and died in just a
few days.
