We seem to be straying from CP a little, but I just got an unidentified
Stapelia with bell-shaped flowers (but not quite as much as S.
leendertzii) that smells just like Thai fermented shrimp paste.

If you really like stinky plants, try the voodoo lily (Sauromatum
guttatum) which smells like a horse stable in dire need of cleaning, or
some of the other stinky aroids. The Amorphophalli smell of rotting
flesh, and biarum is redolent of a human latrine. It grows all over the
hills of southern Greece in Autumn. Delightful! :)
