Hi!

I went down to the Rod McClelland Company this weekend and was suprised to
find that they've drastically increased their CPs for sale. Previously,
I've seen Dionea and an occasional Darlingtonia. This time, however, they
had:
Lots of Dionea
Darlingtonia (both small plants and BIG bagged plants)
$5-7
Sarracenia
1. Flava ($22)
2. leucophylia ($22)
3. Purpurea ($22)
And more...
Drosera
1. Capensis (7.95) for a smallish plant
2. Spathulata (6.95)
and more...

Utriculria:
1. Sandersoni (6.95)
and more...

They didn't have any Nepenthes, Heliamphora or anything else
terribly "Exotic".

Anyway, the plants they had seemed to be healthy (albiet a bit expensive).
I was told by one of the people who worked there that they are planning some
kind of Carnivorous Plant Sale for sometime around father's day. He said
they'd have some lectures, etc. Might be interesting. I'll send something
out when I get more detail.

For those of you who don't know what Rod McClelland is, it is an Orchid
nursery in South San Francisco. The official name is "Rod McClelland -
Achres of Orchids". I don't have the address or anything, but if you
call I'm sure they'll be happy to give directions. I'm certain they do
mail order, as well. The guy I talked to said one of the nurseryman is
very interested in CP and they plan on expanding their CP collection.
