Yes, I knew about the two green spots in _N.reinwardtiana_ , but in specimens
which lack them, separation from _N.gracilis_ is pretty difficult -
especially when they are not in flower. I do not know any hybrid with
_N.reinwardtiana_ which shows the spots (so this might be recessive).

What do you say to the _N.neglecta_ photo (well, it really is quite
bad)? But the similarity of this species with _N.hirsuta_ is quite
high. If _N.leptochila_ is to be united with _N.hirsuta_ ( and evidence
of herbarium specimens is quite convincing for this: _N.leptochila_ is
definitely *NOT* as glabrous as stated by DANSER), I think it would be
wise to forget _N.neglecta_, too. Of course, the fact that it+s natural
habitat was destroyed remains big sh.. (sorry!)
