Subject: Cuban Pinguicula in cultivation

The topic of wild collecting and introducing plants into cultivation
reminds me of an account posted to this list several years ago. A list
member made a voyage to Cuba to find some rare Pinguicula and attempted
these in cultivation.

I'm curious now how these plants did in cultivation. Are many people
growing them? Have they entered the commercial trade?

It would be interesting to look at some real situations. The
hypothetical scenarios being presented here are mostly designed to be
paradoxes.
