I loved the comment on " if the wife will tolerate them for a few
    more weeks" and LOL BIG TIME as I have lost count the times I
    have had wife/girfriend comments on "if I had tendrils or
    pitchers you would take more interest in me!! And other
    statements such as "no you can't grow that in the house" or "no
    more plants (esp. Neps) in the house". An Aussie mate also had
    similar probs as well! Ric. ps if Jeanie Babe (my partner)
    reads this I will be 'banished' to the greenhouse for a spell.
