This is one of the northernmost sites of this rare species of Sarracenia. It depends on management because otherwise too dense shrub vegetation would overgrow the pitcher plants. S. oreophila is accompanied here i.a. by Utricularia cornuta, U. subulata, Drosera intermedia, D. capillaris, and Sanguisorba canadensis.
