Origin of depicted specimens: SW Turkey, gorge S of Salda Gölü Lake (between Denizli and Burdur), 1250 m, collected October 23, 1993, by myself. At this site about 20 percent of the flowers are pure white.

P. cryst. subsp. hirtifl. grows on both sides of the brooklet in 930517 mostly with Parnassia palustris .
