Subject: Using pond water for growing Drosera

Hi,
I have given a drosera capensis as a gift to a friend. He doesn't
have a water butt, however he does have a little pond. This pond is
naturally filled with rain water, and so the question is:

Is it OK to use the water from the pond to water the plant?
