I, too, live in Las Vegas. It's tough to keep the highland Nepenthes
happy here in the summer, especially now when the temps are triple
digit and the R. humidity double digit.

An old Orchidist's trick for fungus is cinnamon powder. It works,
although I have no idea why. You don't have to spend a lot for it.

I keep fuchsias and other cool growers in the air-conditioning when
the greenhouse warms up to above 90 F. (in my bathroom window)
